Upon Thy Paths

The title of this book is derived from Psalm 17 , “Hold up my goings in Thy paths, that my footsteps slip not” (Ps. 17:5). The reference is here to the ten words that once resounded from Mt. Sinai. God, the great Law-giver, wrote His law upon tables of stone. Whatever has been engraved in stone is permanent. It emphasizes the eternal and enduring nature of God’s gracious commandments.
